Airworthiness Engineer

Delve deep into the heart of our drones in critical situations!

We usually respond within two weeks

Aviant delivers food and medicine to gardens using drones. After starting in the labs at MIT in 2020, Aviant has launched three home delivery bases, covered tens of thousands of kilometers and managed to take a leading position in the European drone market. After 6 months of home deliveres for Foodora outside Stockholm, we will now launch our fourth base to nearly 100,000 people. To ensure full uptime, we need more on-call engineers to help with advanced technical support on the drones.


Responsibilities:

  • Live troubleshooting of hardware and software problems
  • Evaluate whether it's safe to fly the drone with the observed issues
  • Software development to make your own workday more efficient

Practical:

  • Position: 40%
  • Working hours: Every other week, Thursday-Sunday, from 1400 to 2200 CEST.
  • Start: In January
  • Location: Onboarding and training in Trondheim or Oslo, then remote

Ideal candidate:

  • Top 5% among your peers
  • Impressive experience with networking, realtime systems, Debian, PX4, python, troubleshooting and cybernetics
  • Comfortable with making critical decisions with little information
