Aviant makes drone delivery a reality. After starting in the labs at MIT in 2020, we have signed twenty commercial contracts in Scandinavia, flown over 4,500 flights covering more than 50,000 km, built a robust team of 20 people, launched Kyte, one of two live European drone delivery services, and managed to take a leading position in the European drone market. Due to solid commercial traction, we are now looking to expand our team.

About the Position: 

We are seeking a technically skilled and solution-oriented individual to join our team in Ski, Norway as Senior Drone Operator . As drone operator, you'll be responsible for operating our drone fleet. This includes both test flights of new technical features and delivering on commercial contracts. Additionally, you might get more administrative responsibility to ensure we deliver on some of the contracts. 

Responsibilities: 

• Handling and maintenance of drone equipment. 
• Performing complex testing of new technical features on the drones. 
• In time, overall responsibility for operations on customer projects. 
• Ensuring continuous operation according to our company's standards for quality and safety.

Qualifications:

• Practical skills and solution orientation. You need to have the ability to handle unexpected challenges and ensure the drone and base function optimal 
• Need to speak and write English, preferably understand Norwegian
• You need good communications and collaborations skills. 
• Ability to work independent and structured 
• Preferably good technical understanding and some experience
• Comfortable with responsibility and ability to lead projects. 
• Driver license for car
