Aviant makes drone delivery a reality. After starting in the labs at MIT in 2020, we have signed twenty commercial contracts in Scandinavia, flown over 4,500 flights covering more than 50,000 km, built a robust team of 20 people, launched Kyte, one of two live European drone delivery services, and managed to take a leading position in the European drone market. Due to solid commercial traction, we are now looking to expand our team.

About the Position: 

We are seeking a technically skilled and solution-oriented individual to join our team in Sweden as ground crew for our drone operation. As ground crew, you will be responsible for the maintenance and handling of the drone, including battery swapping and ensuring optimal system performance at the base throughout each shift. Additionally you will represent our company at the base. The project involves home delivery of food and goods in collaboration with an existing well-known brand in Sweden. This includes picking up orders from stores and restaurants by car, transporting them to the base, and attaching them to the drone for delivery. You need to have a driver license. 

Responsibilities: 

• Handling and maintenance of drone equipment, focusing on battery swapping and operational reliability 
• Managing and maintaining base facilities Acting as a point of contact for visitors 
• Ensuring continuous operation according to our company's standards for quality and safety
• Handling food and groceries according to regulations 

Qualifications:

• Practical skills and solution orientation. You need to have the ability to handle unexpected challenges and ensure the drone and base function optimal 
• Need to speak and write English, preferably understand Norwegian
• You need good communications and collaborations skills. 
• Ability to work independent and structured 
• Preferably good technical understanding and some experience
• Driver license for car
