Summer Internship - Software Developer

Develop commercial drone transportation technology!

At Aviant, we enable autonomous on-demand transportation of goods using drones. After starting out in the labs at MIT, Aviant has evolved from building homemade drones to operating and developing commercial unmanned systems for transporting blood samples, covid samples and operating the home delivery service kyte.delivery!

As a software developer at Aviant, your main responsibility will be building the customer-facing app or internal tooling that allows us to operate our drones effectively and safely. We are looking for resourceful students who are comfortable with responsibility.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Is a 4th or 5th year student within Computer Science or a related field
  • Has demonstrated the ability to work independently on challenging tasks
  • Is skilled in software development
  • Is interested in a startup environment
  • Has a passion for Aviant’s mission
